The Gurahali is the perfect size boat for surfers to get around the atolls in comfort and time The crew couldn’t do enough for us their friendly nature and pride they put into their work is something to behold,Our guide Mishu was on the money with his ability to get us in the right location for waves and his english is the best I’ve heard of a Maldivian in the three trips I’ve done Food from Saman and Sameera outstanding as was the knowledge and safety from the captain and boat crew.Best surf charter in the Maldives of the three different boats I’ve done so far,thank you lads until next time
Amazing charter in paradise
Our charter on Gurahali was sublime. The boat is so unique and the different spaces really adds to the experience.
Mishu, our guide, was very mindful. His English is fluent and it enabled us to really connect with him and the crew.
Raj, the bar man, got to know me pretty well and we had lots of fun.

I was just onboard this vessel from 22/08/24 -30/10/24 . Mishu the surf instructor was second to none , his knowledge and kindness made the trip unbelievable, to the crew on board all 3 boats worked so hard to make this trip amazing and they succeeded. They even help me out and planned the perfect proposal location for to ask my partner to marry me !
I can’t thank the lads enough and I will definitely be back on board this boat when I can !!

Mishu, Aloc, Raj, captain, chef and the rest of the crew on Gurahali down the southern Atolls were awesome!! Best service and personal care you’ll ever get, Mishu and captain took special care to ensure our whole family (10 total including couples) was surfing breaks within our comfort level (and sometimes pushing it but in a good way) and that the non-surfers in our family also had lots of options for snorkeling, island adventures and fishing. I could not recommend a better action-packed family holiday. They even went to their own personal efforts to create a stunning surprise engagement for me, as requested by my now fiance. The personal touch was above and beyond and the chef was exceptional!

The experience of a life time , from the surf, snorkeling, fishing to the entire crew setting up a perfect proposal location for me . The meals supplied was second to none and the knowledge and friendless of the surf instructor and boat crew made this trip everything I could have hope for

Extra Costs
• Domestic airfares required from Male to Outer Atolls. Allow US$325 each way for airfare and board bag (max 7 foot, 25kg). Note Surfboards as checked luggage are restricted to one boardbag per surfer, Max 25kg and 7 foot (2m) in length. If you are planning on taking more than 1 board in separate board bags you could try taping all the board bags together so they present as just 1 piece of luggage. The surfboard weight is included in the passenger allowance of 25kg, for example: a surfer brings a suitcase + 1 surf bag, total allowance is 25kg. Note there is also a new “Oversize penalty” of US$100 if your boardbag exceeds these dimensions but can still be carried by the airline. But oversize boardbags are at risk of not fitting on the aircraft and could be left behind.
- Photography service. US$50 for 10 photos of your choice. US$100 for full suite of photos. Camera used is a Canon 70D SLR and photos will be taken from land, boat or tender.
- Alcohol is available for purchase on board. If you have any special requests, please let us know well in advance and we will do our best to organize your favourite brand. For reference 1 beer usually costs US$5 per can.
- Snacks: There are a range of snacks available such as Mars Bars and Twix bars on board to purchase.

Internet Access
For convenient internet access in the Maldives, we recommend getting a local SIM card from one of the reputable providers. Upon arrival, you can easily purchase a SIM card at the airport once you have cleared customs. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you in this process.
Additionally, if you prefer to stay connected while on a boat, WiFi is available onboard for a nominal charge.
Alternatively, you can consider adding the global roaming option to your existing plan. However, it is crucial to be aware of the potential costs involved with your provider before making this decision.

All our hand-selected, well-trained guides have been running surf charters for many years, and are the best and most experienced in the Maldives.
