Your hosts Nico and Pierre cook excellent European cuisine, to complement meals from the Indonesian chef. The Banyak Islands are one of the last surf frontiers of Indonesia. Just north of Nias, the islands of Bangkaru (“Treasure Island”) and Tuangku (home of the “Bay of Plenty”) hold a number of world-class waves and there is still more exploring going on.

Trip of a lifetime and it wouldn't be possible without Pierre and the amazing crew on the dream.
The conditions where pretty unpredictable but the knowledge that Pierre has still made for a awesome times, great surf and awesome food and lots of fun. Would 100% recommend the Dream to any surfer wanting to explore the Banyak islands. Only thing I would recommend would be for a speed boat to pump around the islands looking for surf in less time! Can’t complain about one thing top crew great skipper and all round the best trip of my life.

Amazing trip
Pierre is a great skipper and host. We all felt totally welcome and at home. Easy to talk to and he felt like one of the boys. The conditions were testing to say the least but he got us to the best waves on the day. Super thankful for his knowledge. The crew were awesome! So on it with the pick up / drop offs to the waves with the inflatable. Not once did anyone have to wait to be scooped up or dropped off. Friendly, funny and hard working. The boat is perfect, great layout and the upstairs area is a perfect zone for eating and hanging out. The only thing I could suggest would be a fast boat to fly between spots to surf. Really thankful for everything. Great trip. Cheers.

Surfing Highlights
The Charter
The Dream is designed for the total relaxation and comfort of our guests in mind. Each of our five large, private double bedrooms is air-conditioned and large beds (1.40m) are provided. To accomodate couples, we can also provide the option of one VIP room with a king-sized bed. We can accomodate up to 12 guests, as we have a spare room that sleeps up to 4 people. The Dream also features a comfortable, air-conditioned living room - a great spot to chill out with your mates and relive the best moments of the day, as well as an equipped kitchen and two bathrooms.
Surfing
The Banyak Islands are one of the most remote surf destinations in Indonesia, and The Dream is one of just three surf charter boats located full-time in the region. That means uncrowded, world-class waves all season long. The archipelago is surfable throughout the year but the best conditions are from March to end of November. Average swell size ranges from 1 to 2.5m, and is most consistent from April to October. There aren't any surf shops in the Banyaks, so strongly consider bringing along a spare leash, fins, wax, and a repair kit. Telos and Mentawais are available upon request.
The Meals
Days on the Dream begin with a light buffet breakfast of cereals, fruit, toast, juice, coffee, and tea. After a morning surf, you will be served a proper breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, toasted sandwiches, pancakes, and homemade bread. Lunches and dinners are a mix of cuisines from around the world, featuring sushi, pizza, burgers, seafood, and, of course, dessert! Your hosts Nico and Pierre cook excellent European cuisine, to complement meals from the Indonesian chef.
