“I’m writing to pay a huge compliment to one of your staff, Travis Firrell, who was an amazing help in booking a last-minute — very last-minute — charter to the Banyaks. Our original boat cancelled on us 10 days out from departure, and Travis sourced a replacement boat, booked internal flights and accommodation.

We are now sitting in the Banyaks getting waves. It wasn’t just what he did, but how he went about it. He communicated really well, was super responsive, and dealt with our original charter boat. He literally salvaged our trip. I hope I get to deal with Travis again. Please see this email as recognition of a job well done.”

Kandooma

We were taken care of by Perfect Wave at Kandooma. I usually surf all over Indonesia, but this was our first time in the Maldives with my family.

Every day, Stevo and Jinoo from Perfect Wave guided us to the best spot at the perfect time, tailored to the waves of the day. Their teamwork was fantastic. The drone footage was also full of beauty that can only be captured in the Maldives. I will definitely come back to Kandooma. Thank you, Jinoo!!

“Had an awesome time at Mavericks, got plenty of fun waves surfing Machines and Yin Yangs, with no one else around except a few friendly locals. I was the only surfer on the island, which meant personalised service from Minhal and crew.

Minhal was awesome and always kept me up to date with when the swell would turn on. He looked after us when my wife got sick and took us to the hospital. The crew also looked after her whilst snorkelling, while I was surfing further up the point. Also, a big shout out to Aniz the Boat Captain, such a legend and a top bloke. Thanks again, Perfect Wave, for another great holiday. We’ll be back again next year to score Sarongs.”

Oasis Mentawai Charter

I appreciated the timely arrivals at each destination, and working with the little swell to still find spots that were breaking and uncrowded. The crew was fantastic. They worked tirelessly to ensure the boat was kept clean, and the food was plentiful and constant. We never had to wait when we wanted a taxi to a wave or to return to the boat. 5 stars!

Highly recommend the Gurahali. Cabins are comfortable, the crew are awesome & the food’s amazing as well. And guides know where it’s all happening & will get you to less crowded waves. Did a trip last August & it was the best. Cheers.

“Sylvia, just to let you know, we absolutely love this place. The surf out the front, it’s very easy, so good for Karen, sand bottom very useful, friendly. There are heaps of waves around us for me, and all is good. Thanks for recommending it. We have the most amazing villa. I don’t want to leave already. So worth the money, could not recommend this place enough and don’t want to cause I don’t want anyone to come and push the price up haha”
