Check out this neat clip of the waves the ASL crew scored in so called off season up at luxurious Telo Island Lodge shot last month by the ASL crew on their annual Board Testing mission. With a quiver including a 5-foot single fin, boards made out from cork and everything twin, quad and thruster in-between Nick Carroll absconded to the Telo Islands with Ryan Callinan and Heath Joske.

Their mission?

To put the crafts through their paces.

The clip gives you a great idea of the wide variety of uncrowded, quality waves you will score at Telo Island Lodge in late Feb/early March.

Feb/March is actually already early season, so you can expect even better waves than the ASL crew and Bob McTavish is your host.

Are you kidding me?

Bob is a genuine surfing pioneer and true legend of our sport/pastime

Bob has crammed more amazing experiences into his life than most legends. You could say he  knows a thing or two about the history of surfing and board technology. Credited as the critical figure in  the shortboard revolution, he also discovered too many iconic surf spots to mention.

The Perfect Wave are offering you the opportunity off a lifetime to hang out with Bob in the beautiful Telo Islands from Feb 22 to March 4.

Not only will you bask in the luxury that is Telo Island Lodge, surfing some of the most perfect and uncrowded waves in Indonesia, but you’ll be able to surf, hang out and talk story with Bob.

Talk short board revolution, travel, industry, the 60’s, 70’s – you name it Bob has a tale. Oh yeah and did i mention Bob still rips and is pretty much a frothing grommet that will be pushing you to paddle out for another surf with him.

Fortunately for two very lucky people, there has been a late cancellation, and we have two spots still up for grabs on this epic trip.
