A former French colony located on Africa’s West Coast just below the Tropic of Cancer, Senegal boats uncrowded beach breaks, reef breaks and great points for the adventurous surfer. Some of the best waves including Oukam, Yof, and Ngor Island, are close to the capital Dakar. They all come with warm water, non-stop sun and a vibrant, but friendly, surf culture.  Away from the waves the country’s incredible history, natural parks, diverse wildlife and lovely beaches lined with diverse lush vegetation add more depth to what is a unique and wonderful travel experience.
