Every year, the Ratu Motu will voyage from the Mentawai Islands in the west to the the remote corners of the eastern part of Indonesia - West Papua. Moving with the seasons, they cruise the whole Indo-Pacific Coast of Indonesia and beyond. Any surf charter probably strays into the realms of dreamland for most surfers, but the exclusive and ultimate luxury Ratu Motu (formerly Indies Trader IV) cranks everything up several levels. Famous from Kelly and the Young Guns, this luxurious surf boat complete with heliport and a very experienced international crew, cruises the waters of West Sumatra and West Papua.
Meals are all-inclusive (with the exception of select alcoholic beverages) aboard the Ratu Motu and have been designed to emphasize fresh, healthy, super-food performance-enhancing nourishment to maintain peak energy levels during the experience. The chef has a bevy of unique dishes at the ready as well as the ability to provide a custom menu upon request prior to arrival. The outdoor bar is located at the rear of the ship and provides you with the opportunity to enjoy the day or evening while taking in all of the sights and sounds. The ship is one of the most well–equipped sport diving vessels in the world. Their scuba tank fill stations with multiple whips and Dual Bauer compressors will maximize your dive time. You can dive directly from the ship’s swim platform or use the tenders to access the most exhilarating dive locations on the globe, many of which you may be the first to experience.
As one of Indonesia’s fastest-cruising live-aboard yachts, the Ratu Motu gives divers access to a wide variety of secluded hot spots, including exciting channel dives with sharks and rays, vibrant thilas, cleaning stations, wrecks, and coral overhangs.

Choose from 8 State Rooms on the Ratu Motu divided onto two decks in four cabin classes. Relax in the bright and spacious cabins as you enjoy the most well appointed and equipped vessel in West Sumatra and West Papua. All Ratu Motu cabins are air-conditioned with ensuite facilities and equipped with Plasma/LCD screen televisions, internet connection, DVD players and Apple TV, all in the comfort of your State Room. Cabins are serviced twice daily.
The Main deck provides four deluxe double berth staterooms, each with a single queen sized bed, desk, ensuite facilities, TV, surround sound, DVD, Apple TV, satellite phone and email communication. Two of these cabins offer additional luxuries and also include dual hand basins in the ensuites. All upper deck cabins include large viewing windows providing a bright airy feel.

Also on this deck are three two berth cabins with tiered single bunks, one of these with ensuite facilities, two with shared showers and WC amenities. Additional two berth cabins are available by arrangement.
At the stern of the ship on the upper level, the Observation Deck provides an opportunity to relax in the shade while enjoying an uninterrupted view of the horizon from the comfort of your lounge chair or at the alfresco bar. This area is the perfect afternoon meeting place to share a drink, enjoy the sunset and reflect on the day’s activities while you await your gourmet culinary experience.
Situated forward of the Bridge on the Upper Deck you will find a spacious sun lounge. With plush cushioned seating and comfortable day beds, it is an exceptional location to enjoy secluded sunbathing or an intimate evening drink under the stars. The sun lounge also offers a panoramic view of your surroundings when the vessel is underway between anchorages.
Right on the waterline at the stern of the ship provides a large swim platform and ladder. This allows effortless access to the water for scuba diving, snorkeling or swimming.
