Well, February is here, and we are super excited for the upcoming surf season starting next month in the Maldives. This month it is our birthday with Perfect Wave turning 15 years old – Yeww! It is hard to believe it was 15 years ago we started this from under my house on the Northern Beaches of Sydney Australia, but it has been an amazing crazy journey. Now in 2022 we are still here and dreaming of surfing the best waves on the planet. We will be celebrating all year with plenty of presents for you, our amazing surf travellers. But for now, it is time to start dreaming of a surf trip now and “Where to in 2022”?
Other great news is Bali is now back open to tourists, however, there is a small caveat that you need to quarantine for 2 nights, 3 days at a luxury seaside resort before being free to travel freely. Not a bad requirement if you are able to travel for an extended period. For a shorter holiday this might be a bit prohibitive, but we expect this will continue to be reduced or dropped altogether by April. For now, however, we are all free to travel to the Maldives and with the surf season starting in March, we have everything you need to know to get on a plane and have that long-awaited surf trip you have been dreaming about.
