Beachfront Bure
Beachfront Bures have each been designed in traditional Fijian style, with soaring ceilings, thatched roofs, hand polished Fijian mahogany hardwood floors, and feature local Fijian art. The king-size beds are draped with elegant and luxurious Egyptian cotton linens and the separate sitting area has comfortable furniture, along with a mini bar and coffee/tea making facilities. Royal Beach Houses are situated at the far end of our white sand beach, affording absolute privacy from the rest of the resort, along with the highest level of luxury for the discerning couple. The villas feature a spacious bedroom and a living area, with high-quality furniture, the finest in linens, and an array of Fijian art commissioned specifically by Qamea Resort & Spa. Royal Villa
Royal Villa is 150 sq/mtr (1,700 sq/ft) luxurious beach house set at the end of the resort’s exquisite white sand beach, offering absolute privacy, and command outstanding ocean and beach views. They each have their own private plunge pool on an expanded sunning deck that goes to the edge of the beach. Also on the deck facing the views of the lagoon is a heated Jacuzzi spa and an outdoor rock wall shower. Inside the Royal Villa there is 2 full bathrooms; a master bedroom (king) with en suite (indoor shower), 2nd bedroom with 2 x single beds or 1 x king, a shared bathroom and a separate living/lounge area.

All rooms are beachfront, fully air conditioned, fan cooled, have large modern European bathrooms with romantic outdoor river stone showers, mahogany hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, separate living area, 4 poster canopy bed, large covered deck with outdoor furniture and hammock. All room amenities include; beach bag, beach & bath towels, toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, soaps and lotion, bath robes and slippers, hair dryer, mini bar, French Press coffee and tea, & safety deposit box.
Activities
Qamea Resort's complimentary guided snorkelling operate Tues, Thurs, Sat & Sun, Guided snorkelling trips (charge applies) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. These are all normally scheduled to take place at 3pm each day. Mondays - Lavena Coastal Walk Taveuni Island. Tuesdays - Guided Kayak Tour. Wednesday - Bouma Waterfalls / Taveuni Island. Thursday - Guided Village Tour (FOC but souvenirs available to purchase). Friday - Pearl Farm Tour. Saturday - Bouma Waterfalls / Taveuni Island. Sunday - Fijian Church Service (donation). They also offer kayaking, windsurfing, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding and a full PADI dive facility. Full spa onsite.
Surfing
From November to April, the nearby coral reef breaks can become a surfer’s paradise. During this time the wind is normally light and variable meaning that it’s the best time of year for chest-high to overhead waves with occasional bigger days. Crowds are very thin and the water is warm. There are 3 main breaks located fifteen minutes by boat. A long right is the premier break. It starts as a grinding barrel, turns into a rippable face and ends with a very mellow section before petering into deep water, making this the ideal spot for every ability and style of surfing.
