What you love
Very nice place to stay in Yoyo's.
Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Baha Baha has a super nice common area with a pool to relax after the surf and you can join a yoga class daily.
Baha Baha villa was a great find.
World class surfing is so close with a guide to get you into the right waves. The villas give you the true Indonesian relaxed luxury feeling which make them an awesome sanctuary to come back to after a day out in the waves or exploring the local area.
The staff at Baha were great, every question was answered and the local knowledge was a great help. The food was a mix of local and western which was great especially when travelling with some fussy eaters.
I can not recommend Baha any higher and I can’t wait to go back.

The Villas
It’s hard to not immediately fall in love with the place. Beautiful, traditional thatched-roof villas are just meters from sandy beaches leading into verdant island forest. The villas themselves are spacious and breezy, and come with wide beds, flatscreen TVs and reasonably large bathrooms. Between the villas, there’s meticulously cultivated gardens. There's also an outdoor pool, along with an on-site restaurant that serves up some solid local cuisine.
Surfing
Baha Baha Villas is located right near some of the region’s best beaches and surf breaks. Out the front of the villas is Yoyo's, a consistent and fun right that picks up plenty of swell. There is always a wave there. If the swell picks up and you are looking for some of the legandary West Sumbawa reefs, the challenging lefts of Scar Reef and Supersuck are a short drive north. Other breaks include Little Bingin, Donuts and Benete, all a great alternatives to avoid the crowds.
Activities
The West Sumbawa region is best known for some amazing snorkeling, but other watersports are also possible. Elsewhere, the island interior is great for biking, and Baha Baha Villas offers bike hire and advice for any keen explorers. There’s also some decent hiking for anyone who wants to take a break from the beach. The new yoga shala provides the perfect space for your yoga and meditation practice.
