Completed in 2014, this single story ocean front Spanish Modern design is located in the small town of Playa Brasillito which is approximately 3 kilometers outside of the port of Salina Cruz and adjacent to Punta Conejo. Accommodations and the surrounding resort grounds are enhanced with care to reflect the local décor and essence of the natural surrounding environment. All rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, DVD/TV, ceiling fans, sitting areas and private bathrooms. The resort can accommodate up to 14 Guests.
The peak swell season is between March and October, and you can score over a dozen of top quality point breaks and miles of beach breaks. Billingual and experienced surf guides with a 4WD trucks will look after all your needs. Punta Conejo is within walking distance of a near-perfect point break that is relatively uncrowded. Within just a few miles there are several impressive surf spots that give you a great variety within a close proximity. The waves are suitable for all levels of surfers, and the local guides will show you the most suitable spots based on the wind and tide conditions. There are also surf lessons available from qualified surf instructors that know the local break like the back of their hands.
Not only is the Port of Salina Cruz rich in surf and culture, but the neighboring villages are a must to visit - Tehuantepec, Jalapa, and Juchitan. During your your stay at Punta Conejo Resort, your guide will personalize an activity schedule to your liking. Other attractions include Ojo De Agua, Ruins of Guiengola, Salina Cruz city history tour and market place, Mexican ranch experience with horseback riding along empty beaches, Sport fishing on a private boat and Kayak eco tours and fishing. Beach day excursions to a variety of secluded empty beaches for surf lessons, surf fishing, swimming, diving, stand-up paddle board or just sunbathing and relaxing.

Upon Arrival to HUX
Punta Conejo Resort representative will greet you at the airport and provide transfer in a private Punta Conejo Resort 4×4 Vehicle. Punta Conejo Resortis approximately a 2 hour drive from HUX Airport. Upon leaving HUX Airport, you will be provided with cold drinks. The Punta Conejo Resort representative can stop off at Huatulco for tacos, shopping or hit one of the many secluded beaches while in route to Punta Conejo Resort at the groups request. Once at Punta Conejo Resort you will immediately experience the “ Being Out There Feel” and remoteness. The Punta Conejo Resort staff will also be there to help you get settled in and address any questions. Your Punta Conejo Resort guide will be available to plan your adventure and itinerary. Your Trip Planner will custom design your daily activities during your stay and suggest the best plan depending on weather and or surf conditions. During the Surf Season, your surf guide will suggest what spots will be best depending on swell, tides and winds. Keep in mind, the wind and tides play a major role in scoring the best waves. Your guides will know where to go and not to go in order to score. Prior to your stay ending at Punta Conejo Resort , our guides or the Punta Conejo Resort Manger will organize your transportation to HUX Airport.

How much money should i bring?
$300-$1,000 Per Person, It is highly recommended to exchange at the Mexican International Airport (MEX), as the LAX exchange rate is far below what you can exchange for at the MEX. With Canadian Dollars, you may want to consult at your local bank and or airport upon departing. Should you have a direct flight to HUX, please exchange your money ahead of time as HUX does not offer money exchange services.
Is there internet access at the resort?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included and available, so make sure to bring Wi-Fi devices and/or Ipad and laptop.
Do I have to tip?
We encourage all guests to offer generously and tip their personal guide, cooks, and housekeeper as deemed appropriate.
