It\u2019s great to watch them surf and it really improves my surfing; we move so differently from the guys and I always think if she can do it, I can do it!\u00a0 When you surf with other girls, you\u2019re not conscious of trying too hard, you can be yourself and push your own limits.\u00a0 It\u2019s a different buzz all together.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9 my-3\"><iframe class=\"embed-responsive-item lazyload\" data-src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hcTRl4cuXrQ?feature=player_detailpage\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-load-mode=\"1\"> height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It&#8217;s great seeing girls paddling out where I live in Hossegor, especially in the wintertime, I always smile and have a chat \u2013 girl surfing in Europe reminds me a bit of how it must have been when surfing started to get popular around the world \u2013 we\u2019re still a pretty small group here in Europe, there are heaps of girl-surfers in Australia and California but here in Europe we are few compared to the guys but we are becoming more abundant gradually and it\u2019s amazing to see. In fact just the other day, there were 5 of us girls in the water and only 1 guy out \u2013 in all my 20 years of surfing, that\u2019s the first time the girls have ever out-numbered the guys in the water \u2013 love it!!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So I\u2019m thinking I will either jump on\u00a0 the next All-girls Mentawai surf trip that\u2019s coming up at the end of March or the all-girls <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/home\/surf\/71-hamathi-maleatollls.html\">Maldives Surf Charter<\/a> in July!!\u00a0 It\u2019s not an easy decision to make, should I go on an all-girls Surf Charter at the best and biggest time of the year for the Maldives or should I go to surf the Mentawai islands and stay at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/home\/surf\/36-aloitaresortandspa.html\">Aloita Resort &amp; Spa<\/a>?\u00a0 Hmmm decisions, decisions;)\u00a0 I\u2019ve been on a surf charter before and I loved it, but I was on a boat full of couples so it wasn\u2019t as much fun as it would have been with a cool bunch of surfer girls!\u00a0 Surf Charters are great because you really maximise the amount of surfing time in the water.\u00a0 There\u2019s nothing to do except surf and I love that.\u00a0 You literally come in for food, more sunscreen or if the tide\u2019s changing, then back out there \u2013 it\u2019s almost impossible to just stay on the boat and relax when the waves are pumping!\u00a0 The Maldives is absolute paradise, the colour of the water, the fish, the reefs that you see when you\u2019re surfing over them \u2013 it couldn&#8217;t be any better!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the other hand it would be good to check out the Mentawai too!\u00a0 I\u2019ve always wanted to do an all-girls surf trip in the Mentawai and especially at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/home\/surf\/36-aloitaresortandspa.html\">Aloita Surf Resort <\/a>as I think it would be less-intimidating to surf with girls instead of guys.\u00a0 I know that the biggest swells hit in summer time mainly in July and August so this all girls surf trip at the end of March should be just perfect.\u00a0 It\u2019s kind of nice to have your own space on a landbased camp, you can just chill out with a book or walk around and find a good spot to sunbathe \u2013 on a boat, on the otherhand, there\u2019s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Having said that all I want to do is surf so I think I\u2019m going to go with the Surf Charter option in the Maldives \u2013 see you onboard maybe\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/home\/enquire.html\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Enquire Now<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/mentawai-islands\/all-girl-surf-trips-surf-charter-or-surf-resort\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3957\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Surfing Indo\" alt=\"Suzi Surfing Bingin\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/me_bingin_surfing.jpg\" width=\"110\" height=\"73\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 110px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 110\/73;\" \/><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Surfing Indo\" alt=\"Suzi Surfing Bingin\" src=\"https:\/\/www.perfectwavetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/me_bingin_surfing.jpg\" width=\"110\" height=\"73\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Suzi Allen<br \/>\nDirector &#8211; The Perfect Wave Europe<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next time I go on a surfing holiday, I\u2019m really tempted to go on an all-girls surf trip!
