Simeule lies off the coast far north coast of Sumatra and provides fantastic waves and unspoiled natural beauty to a select band of returning visitors. The island’s most consistent swells hit between April and October, when the fun waves such as The Peak, Dylan’s Right, or the more serious slabs of Thailands and Teabags all light up. Access is also easy courtesy of daily domestic flights from the Sumatran city of Medan
