Arenas Del Mar Beachfront and Rainforest Resort
Per night from USD $620
Arenas Del Mar in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica is that easy beachfront luxury resort you’ve been searching for. Beachfront. Ocean views. Rainforest. Wildlife. Manuel Antonio National Park on your doorstep and adventure at your fingertips, but what you’ll remember most is our easy atmosphere. Arenas Del Mar is situated on a cliff with direct access to two pristine sand beaches, Playitas Beach and Espadilla Beach, well–known as a venue for International Surfing Competitions and for its mid–sized break.
What we love
Wave directly out the front, plus 7 different waves nearby for all levels
Stunning clifftop views
Arenas Del Mar is a member of The Cayuga Collection
Located on an 11-acre private rainforest reserve
Stretch of beach offering some of the most consistent conditions on the Pacific Coast. A variety of sandbars have formed creating a pounding and tubular beachbreak.
Another great wave for beginners when small is the left at Punta Dominical, but when it’s fuelled by a serious swell, it holds up to triple overhead with long, hollow rides. Go at higher tides and don’t get caught inside!
A whale tail shaped point is the gateway to Marino Ballena, one of only two marine parks in Costa Rica. The point and some offshore islands help filter swells and create good shelter for some softer, nicely-shaped beachbreaks, working right through the tides. Something for everyone as it can get perfect and the odd hollow day for advanced riders.
