Surf & Other Activities

If you're heading to the Shiga highlands, you're heading into the heart of Japan's skiing country.  Alpenburg is well situated for long days on the slopes, but there's also a few other things to do around the hotel itself. The jacuzzi and swimming pool are great spots to take it easy off the slopes. Even better, the Alpenburg boasts both indoor and outdoor natural hotsprings, which can be a real treat on chilly winter days. Lastly, the hotel offers a comfortable restaurant and bar, where visitors can relax after a day of skiing. All up, there's plenty to keep everyone satisfied.
