What a Week Of Entertainment For BL’s Bali Blast Off

What a week, what an event!

We recently wrapped the first ever Hurley BL’s Bali Blast Off presented by the Perfect Wave. This exclusive event, created by 1988 World Surfing Champion Barton Lynch, was for 8-14 y.o. boys and girls looking to develop their skills. The perfect reefs of Bali were the stage for an international field to grow their surfing in a fun and supportive environment with Barton’s coaching.

Barton Lynch’s first international trip was to Bali as a 14-year-old in 1978 and he fell in love with the island paradise. It seemed so fitting that Blast Off follows BL’s personal migration to Bali for its first international expansion on it’s 14th year.

The event was a huge success, all 5 days of action offering an array of surfing and activities. Bingin was our home for the week and Huey blessed us with perfect swell that really tested the kids skills. The first few days served up fun sized Bingin, before a solid 6-8ft day tested everyone’s skills on Day 3.
