Maldives – Kandooma Surf Report: June 2014

The last 2 weeks on Kandooma Resort has seen an amazing 1.4 meter south east swell @ a 12 second interval deliver waves as good I’ve ever seen peel across this beautiful right hand reef. The major swell delivered double overhead bombs for days while the rest of the time had a slight decline in the period ranging between 11 seconds and 10 seconds producing head and a half to head high waves with a majority westerly wind prevailing optimising offshore conditions for all of the right-handers in the atoll. Sneaky sessions at the left-handers when a little north in the wind presented itself kept the goofy footers happy.

Tuckies, Inside Quarters, Foxy’s, Riptides and Kandooma right pulsing set after set every day truly giving the guests their moneys worth.

After a solid 3 weeks of swell we are now having a few lay days with small swell predicted for a few more days to come as we patiently await the arrival of the next onslaught.
