Meet the Dorians. (From left to right) Jackson, Lisa, Charlie and Shane loving life at Kandooma.

We have been extremely honoured to have 1988 World Champion Barton Lynch on board as our original global ambassador now for seven years. Whilst BL sells out multiple trips annually with Perfect Wave and even teams up with Perfect Wave in taking his incredible Blast Off contests to Bali and beyond with us, BL cannot contain his froth when you mention Kandooma.

Barton absolutely loves Kandooma. He returns every year without fail and is already frothing about his scheduled 2020 trip. You can still reserve a spot here if you wish to join BL on one of his 2020 trips.

1999 World Champ Mark Occhilupo has also hosted several Kandooma trips with Perfect Wave, and 1990 Womens World Champ Pam Burridge has been 4 years in a row now and is already psyching to escape winter in southern NSW to return next year. Secure your spot on Pam’s all girls trip in 2020 here.

It is one thing though to have a surfer of the calibre of Shane Dorian joining your team, but its next level when he brings his whole family and a bunch of totally cool friends and groms who all rip and pretty much froth on life and spreading positive healthy vibes wherever they venture.

The Dorians booked a bunch of Beach Villas on Surfers Point with a bunch of families. Fortunately the waves and weather were epic the entire week!

Clean, offshore and uncrowded Kandooma Right the day Shane and family arrived.

Family holidays are always best when there’s waves. Kandooma on day 2 of the Dorian family and friends stay.

Kandooma Right kept everyone more than occupied the first few days as arguably the SE swell of the season began tapering a day before the group arrived. Fortunately though there were still several days of 3-4ft sunny, offshore bliss before the crew shifted focus to Riptides.

Jackson Dorian and his posse of friends totally tore the waves at Kandooma, Riptides, Quarters and Foxy’s apart, lapping up every minute with true frothing grom enthusiasm. Of course, outside of the surfing, team Dorian also loved all the extra marine activities on offer in the gloriously clear Indian Ocean.
