Happy….. I look over to the sunset.
My eyes are burning and I can feel my face too… actually it feels like tonight I will have a little white tan line on both sides of my mouth just from smiling so much.
My tired arms keep paddling and my shoulders are aching, so as my chest from laying on my board… but its the good kind of pain.  The kind that makes you feel alive.
Only 3 days ago we arrived at Aloita Resort in the Mentawai and I feel like I’ve already spent more time on water then on land.  We’ve been surfing twice a day, many different spots: Icelands, Suicides, Scarecrows, Tikus and Telescopes.

Mostly we turn up and we are the only ones… I guess one of the advantages of coming here on what they call the “off season”. So far it has been ON. And the waves have been perfect for everybody. To that we cheer on the “Sea Taxi” – as our little boat back to the resort is called – cheers for the waves we got today, and may the ocean provide us more smiles in the next few days- it looks promising!
