Surfing in Sumbawa – Nomad Tropical Surf Resort
Our friends form Nomad Tropical Surf Resort are updating us with new surf & resort shots from their area. The waves on offer are Tropical Left and Right (in front of resort) and surf guides also take you to Yo-yos, Scar Reef, SuperSucks and some other (secret) spots by 4×4 wheel drive.
This part of Sumbawagets swell pretty much 12 months of the year, and the best months are June to August – the biggest swells, perfect for SuperSucks and Scar Reef blowing offshore winds all day long. Other months are also very good: The front-door Tropical Left and Right work best in September-November and March-May. The conditions are glassy in the mornings and the winds are really light in the afternoon.
At the moment, they are running a special: Book until the end of November and you’ll pay 2011 price.
