Fun, mellow January lineups… North Sumatra surf season is on! (photo by Tengirri)

Despite the popular belief, you can score waves in North Sumatra nearly all year round. If you have missed our Facebook posts, check out some photos from the January Mentawai charters courtesy of Tengirri surf charters – truly a sight to behold.
But it’s not just the Mentawai. Other, lesser known areas such as Banyaks get the same swells too. If you opt to travel outside the prime time season, you also increase your chances of scoring an exceptional deal. For example, Seriti surf charters in the Banyaks are offering a BOMB for their March and April trips:
The cost of the trip, transfers and international flights from Australia for $US2895 (March) and $US3095 (April) respectively. This will also include a photography package to remember your trip of a lifetime.
But there is more, so please check out our specials page to find out more.

This Man Has Been Living the Dream
Andy Potts has spent the past 5 consecutive seasons in the Mentawai documenting conditions for and on behalf of The Perfect Wave.
Here’s Andy’s 2015 and 2014 Mentawai season highlights clips and some of his favourite images. Read the interview, enjoy his images and watch the clips and you will probably agree the Mentawai is still up there as one of the best places on the planet to surf.
We have some excellent Early Bird Indo deals that expire this week so get in touch with us today and I look forward to hearing from you.
