All-girls surf trip to Fiji is another one in the series of unique surf experiences. The Perfect Wave has reserved Matanivusi Surf Eco Resort for exclusive use for 19th – 26th February 2012 and professional surfing photographer Joel from saltmotion.com will be joining this trip and taking great shots of you surfing and having fun at the resort, the ocean & waves, stunning Fijian sunsets, local culture and nature.
Matanivusi Surf Eco Resort has a unique, award-winning design and consists of 8 beautiful bures tucked between a creek at the rear of the building and coconut palms, exotic flowers and plants at the front, then the beach.
The surf breaks in the area include, among others, a hollow & fast J’s, a powerful and thick Shifties, a smaller Vananiu (a short, wedging righthander) and Frigates – definitely a world-class left that can rival Cloudbreak for power, size and consistency. The range of breaks surrounding the resort satisfies beginners to advanced surfers.
If you don’t surf, choose from other activities available:
- Snorkel in the crystal-clear lagoon
- Fish for trevally, mahi mahi, mackerel, tuna…
- Relax on the white sand beach or in a hammock.
- Enjoy sunset with appetizers and Happy Hour.
