This comfortable pension is a short walk to the lifts and restaurants/bars. Rooms are western style (only 1room Japanese style) with shared bathrooms. There are 3 bathrooms which can be locked. Guest facilities include: wireless LAN Access, laundry facilities, ski room and access to a refrigerator, cooking range, jug, coffee and tea. Linen & Towels provided. Smoking permitted in common room only.

Pension Kanon is in a fantastic position near the centre of Hirafu village, close to restaurants, bars, shops and 6 minutes from the Hirafu lifts. It is a spacious and sun filled lodge with 3 star amenities and with a restaurant and bar on site. You can choose between the pension and the bacpack lodging which are perfect for budget travellers. There are 3 different room types with western or Japanese bedding – all have shared bathrooms.

The owners, Morio and Sachiko have been looking after foreign guests since the early 90's, providing great friendly service and a cozy atmosphere.

Rest, relax and rejuvenate in a traditional Japanese onsen and enjoy the feeling of cleansing and soaking your body after a great powder day. Onsen is an authentic and natural way of healing your mind, body and soul. There are a number of onsens within minutes walk of Alpen Ridge.

Niseko has an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and tours available. Onsens are a must when visiting Niseko, where you can relax with the locals and take in the serenity. Day tours to Sapporo, including the Annual Ice Festival, the seaside city of Otaru, or some cultural activities within Hirafu allows you to have a broad holiday experience.

Take a day trip to the nearby cities of Sapporo or Otaru - the former being the site of the 1972 Winter Olympics and home to the annual Yuki Matsuri (Ice Festival).
