Beach View Villa
The semi-detached beach villas come with large windows that positively invite the outdoors inside. Whitewashed floor boards evoke a sense of fresh coolness, yet feel warm and textured to bare feet. They feature light summer duvets and massive bath towels, flat screen televisions, a place to plug in your mp3/iPod, indoor out-door showers and wifi broadband. The beach villas are 36 square metres in size.
All packages include 6 days of coaching from Pam & Mark and a 7 day surf pass, return airport transfers, accommodation and buffet breakfast daily.
Beach House
The sea-facing Beach House (formally known as the Duplex Villa) offers the luxury of space. Located at the water’s edge, the villas present a striking mix of natural elements and modern design. Bedrooms are on the first floor level and enjoy views of the sea. The living area underneath the bedroom is furnished with designer seating laid out on a carpet of fine white sand. The duplex villas are 72 square metres in size, with 36 square metres on each level.

Overwater Villa
Hovering above coral and marine life in the shallow clear waters, Water Villas offer the ultimate Maldives experience. Each Villa has a private sundeck with hammock that in high tide is partially submerged in crystal clear water. Expansive living space is complemented by a large open bathroom which offers a private outdoor shower and bathtub with views of the water. The Water Villas are 65sqm in size.

Improve your surfing skills in paradise.
The waves on offer are perfect and you will have longer rides with more surf time. Our range of surf coaching sessions are designed for all levels of surfers and are guided by our expert coaches with max 4 surfers per group. Whether you’re trying to catch your first wave, improve your turn game or get more critical with your surfing; we can help you! All sessions include board rental, guiding, coaching, reef booties, rash guards and surf transfers where necessary. Times and locations of lessons are confirmed at time of booking. Duration usually 60-90 mins.
- Private session. For those who want more attention, have the coach all to yourself. – $250
- Beginner Reef Surf lesson. This is a small group lesson with max 4 pax. We will surf the perfect peeling wave right in front of the resort, perfect for beginners, kids and super easy to access – $120
- Beginner Sandbank session. One of the only spots you can learn to surf over soft white sand. Perfect for total first timers or those a little worried about surfing over the reef. Small group max 4 pax. – $150
- Reef break next level. Surf one of the nearby reefbreaks and score more perfect longer waves. Perfect for those wanting to progress to the next level. Small group max 4 pax, includes boat transfer – $195
- Video analysis. One of the best ways to improve your surfing no matter what level you are. We will film you surf and then go through the footage with you afterwards, giving you breakdowns and tips of how you can get more out of your surfing and improve all aspects of your surfing. – $150
- Kids Club Surf Camp. Fun surfing designed for kids under 12. we offer 1, or 3 day programs. Sessions are run in the lagoon or in really small waves that are safe and enjoyable for kids. A certificate is awarded after 3 day program. 1 day – $90 or 3 days – $250
- Learn to Foil. Perfect for the flat or onshore days and totally compliments surfing in many ways. We will teach you how to foil by towing you behind our boat. It’s as challenging as it is fun. Duration 1 hour. Group – $145 or Private – $195

How far is Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives from Male Airport?
Kandooma Surf Resort is located in the Maldives’ stunning South Male Atoll, just a 45 minute boat ride from the capital Male, but secluded enough to feel as though you’ve landed on a remote Island getaway.
How to get to Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives?
Velana International Airport in Male (MLE) is the gateway airport to the Maldives. The airport is well connected with major airports around the world – London, Moscow, Dubai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and many more. Once you arrive in Male, the representative will transfer you to the speedboat which will take you to Kandooma Resort.
Do you need a visa for Maldives?
Tourist visa is granted for all nationalities on arrival to the Maldives. As such, a foreigner travelling to Maldives as a tourist does not require pre-approval for the visa. Which area is best to stay in Maldives?
If you are a surfer, North/South Male Atoll, Central Atolls of Laamu or Dhaalu and Southern Atolls (Gaafu Dhaalu) offer the best conditions for surfing. Ask your Perfect Wave consultant for advice depending on the months you want to travel.
Do you need cash in Maldives?
You’ll be able to use your credit card when staying at a resort such as Kandooma, however, bring some USD (new notes) for incidentals, tips and random costs at the airport.
What is the best currency to take to Maldives?
The currency of the Maldives is the Rufiyaa. However, for visitors, USD is the currency of choice. You might need some cash with you for incidentals. Local ATMs only provide local currency, so are not useful for you to withdraw money for payments on the boat. Everywhere in the Maldives you can pay with USD so bring some with you. Once you are in the country, you will not be able to exchange foreign currency for USD.

The Pam Burridge Surf Coaching experience at Kandooma is specially for surfers who want to develop their surfing in a supportive group environment, riding the user friendly reef breaks of the Maldives. This trip is not for beginners or learning to surf. The coaching team includes Pam Burridge and Mark Rabbidge, one of Australia's most experienced surfboard shapers and surfers. The Resort
Kandooma Island is blessed with white sands, azure skies, lush tropical greenery and clear turquoise waters. Kids Club
Kandooma Kids Club is for ages 4 - 12, and the coordinators develop numerous different activities to amuse the kids while you surf or relax. Children will learn, create, engage, and learn about the fish, flora & fauna around the island, mix cakes, fancy dress......there is no end to the adventures!
Activities
Kandooma Maldives boasts a long list of remarkable outdoor and water adventures, from picnic island trips, to aqua surfaris and windsurfing. Kandooma Maldives activities cater to everyone, be it the advanced diver, the extreme sport enthusiast or the family in need of some tranquil chill out time in the Maldives’ magical wilderness. Evening activities on offer may include live music, discos and local folklore. You can also enjoy tennis, football, table-tennis and darts, as well as just relaxing in the expansive resort pools.
Surfing
Surf passes are included with the Pam Burridge Coaching Experience. Full-day surf transfers are a 3-hour trip twice daily to any South Male Atolls breaks, with departure times at approximately 9.30am and 2.30pm. Surf breaks visited are Riptides, Foxey’s, TwinPeaks, Quarters, Tucky Joe's, Last Stop and Kate’s. Additionally, the qualified surf instructors at Kandooma can give basic tuition for beginners that have been surfing for a while, but want to progress to the next level.
