Like any self-respecting surf camp, they offer yoga classes, but that’s just the beginning! If a few people are interested in taking salsa classes, learning a few Spanish phrases or making traditional Ecuadorian cuisine, they’ll arrange for a local expert to come to the house at no extra cost. If most of the group is interested in making ceviche and you’d rather learn some new dance moves, it’s no problem, but your 1:1 salsa class may carry a small additional charge.

I stayed at Casa Esperanto with a group of friends and had a wonderful time! There is so mich to see and explore in the area and the beachhouse is the perfect spot to base yourself! The large terraces are just heaven at sunset and the little beach hut was also a real treat! The rooms are large and very spacious as is the kitchen dinner, really light and airy! It's difficult to find fault here! i would recommend Casa Esperanto to my friends in a heartbeat and a huge thanks to Jorge for helping us with all our needs.
Yaninochka (March 2014)
I stayed at Casa Esperanto for a few days last year while travelling solo around South America. I must say, it was one of the most charming and peaceful places I had visited during that trip. Located in a small village of Las Tunas, it is the perfect place for those who are looking to spend time in a quiet, non-touristic area, and may be get immersed into the local atmosphere. The house is located right near the ocean. The owner was very nice and extremely helpful with everything from helping with phone calls (i didn't speak spanish) to showing the guests around. Also good internet (in case it's important for you).
