Other Surf Experiences

Keri (September 2014)
Nomad Keramas (Bali) and Nomad Tropical (West Sumbawa) were both fabulous resorts and exceeded my expectations as both were nothing like the surf camps I was imagining. The rooms were beautifully appointed, clean and well air-conditioned, staff were friendly and helpful, and the food amazing. Kim, from Perfect Wave, arranged everything for us, and all our transfers, flights and other arrangements flowed like clock work. Kim was always available to answer our questions, even when we were in Bali.

Justin (October 2014)
I had a an awesome trip and stay at nomads, great local food, nice and quite and focused of finding great uncrowded waves. Jake and Shaun were great hosts and surf guides. They put me onto some great uncrowded wave. I now have some great surf pics and will definitely go back dome time.

Jason (February 2015)
Thanks for organising my recent surf holiday to Nomad Keramas, Bali. The two South African surf guides, Jake and Sean, are some of the biggest frothers I've meet, making sure we scored every day. And score we did. Depending on the wind and tides I surfed twice most days, with the size ranging from 2-3ft beachie to 4-6ft+ reef breaks. Even battled the crowds at Keramas and got a couple, with the uncrowded night surfing at 4ft a definite highlight of the trip. We travelled to Canguu, Serangan and Nusa Dua, but mostly surfed a relatively uncrowded reef peak close to the surf camp. The camp itself was very comfortable, although in need of a little maintenance and the Balo staff very helpful and served up delicious meals.

These guys take all the hassle out of surfing and travelling in Bali as they drive you wherever you want to go, do their best to take you to the best and least crowded waves on the island and ensure your holiday runs smoothly.

I had an amazing time traveling round with Tom & Marsh finding "perfect waves" all around Bali East, West & South Coast. Beach Breaks, Point Break & Reef Breaks which I had a humbling encounter with haha. As there was only me in the lodge it made the entire experience more personal. Reggae bars & Bintangs at night became a standard, flat spell hit so the boys showed me Uluwatu smashed beers in Single Fins then out in Kuta till early morning, top boys had a wild night. All in all I can't recommend Nomads enough for its location, staff, relaxed atmosphere and above all the lads knowledge to find a waves even on days with hardly any swell. Thanks to Josh as well for hooking me up.CheersArron

Nomads Keramas was awesome! Tom and Marsh are sick guys, the Wayans and all their crew are awesome too. The place is nice, a little far away from everything else in Bali...which I take as a great thing. The week I spent there got me geared up to surf a lot more when I get home.

Hey guys, I just spent 5 days at Keramas surf lodge which is about 45mins out of Kuta in Bali.I was simply blown away! When I walked through the front gates of this secluded resort hidden amongst the tall palm trees and green shrubbery that surrounds the resort.8 amazing Villas lined the centre piece of the resort which was a stunning garden bed and lap pool. Beautiful gardens with greens, blue, reds and yellows surrounded and when I got to my room a huge king size bed greeted me with air con and a cool 22 degrees, perfect!Along with the great rooms and huge bathroom I was very impressed with the TV room, games room and multiple chill out areas! The waves in the area were also amazing, I scored 4 days in a row surfing out at Keramas for 5 hours straight with hardly anyone around and scored the longest right hand barrels of my life! I hit the reef a few times but surfaced everytime with nothing but a small scratch that healed later that night anyway!Id recommend this place to anyone that wants to surf awesome waves or to those who want to learn to surf as the surf guides Cesar and Antonio will take great care in helping you either find epic waves or help you get to your feet for the first time and well on your way to surfing the epic waves Keramas has to offer! Its also great for families and is only 10mins from Sanur for shopping or dining!Definitely will be back, hopefully in November!
