Arctic surfers headquarters is located in the capitol of Iceland, Reykjavík, but they also have a few base locations throughout Iceland‘s countryside.  The board riders base camp in Ólafsfjörður is their base of operation in the rugged Tröllaskagi region (Trolls Peninsula). This means that you will be surrounded by towering mountains and deep fjords offering the possibility of snowboarding right down to the ocean in the company of arctic surfers guide. They customise their trips to best suit our customers so accommodation and activities vary based on your interest, weather, wave and snow conditions.

Please note: This is not a beginner’s surf course; to take part in this trip you have to be intermediate to expert surfer.

In the north part of Iceland they have the Board riders base camp where they spend days in mountain huts located in the heart of town, the main surf break is within walking distance and there are mountains all around with endless possibilities for hiking. Two small ski resorts in short distance and riding new fresh lines at the biggest mountain range in Iceland. This area has many qualities both in the land and the people, rich history and many interesting stories. The huts in Ólafsjörður have a kitchen, living room, hot tub, shower and beautiful surroundings to pass the time after a long day or while you wait for the tide or conditions to line up.

*45min drive to Akureyri the capital of the north.
