Richard and Susie Wessel, 2015 Kandooma Tex Perkins guests asked, “How could you ever go to a normal gig again?” straight after the first show. It was a sentiment shared by all who attended either Donavon or Tex’s shows.

The 2016 Surf Music In Paradise series is set to feature two epic weeks of music, surfing and socializing at two very different venues.

You may recall TPW kicked off our very own unique concept with two exclusive boutique surf music shows featuring Californian surfer/musician Donavon Frankenreiter back in June 2014 at Kandooma.

In September 2015, underground Australian music legend Tex Perkins (front man for seminal supergroups The Beasts Of Bourbon, The Cruel Sea, Tex, Don and Charlie, The Dark Horses and many more) performed 4 awesome shows at Kandooma.

Tex and his family enjoyed the week away with fans so much they immediately signed on for Bali in September 2016.

Personally, I have never enjoyed a bunch of chilled acoustic gigs so much. They are like private gigs in your backyard,  with friends, but they are in paradise.

Regular TPW client Glenn Jeff’s summed up every attendee’s sentiments when he said, “Sitting less than 10 metres from the stage on a bean bag, a cold drink in hand, friends and family nearby, socializing and surfing with the musos and like-minded fans is unbeatable.”
