Reiss stoked!

What’s been happening on Simeulue lately!?

Richard, Mahi Mahi surf guide, fills us in on a perfect July.

 Tea bags providing for Sam

With the season in full swing at Mahi Mahi we have seen some incredible consistent swells lighting up Dylan’s, with everyone getting into solid barrels straight away. The Peak has shaped up well for days on end, with fantastic conditions for both tubes and turns. Our crew have surfed for hours and barely come in for meals!

Teabags has provided some thick heavy tubes for guests wanted to push their limits.

With the bigger swells there’s been some memorable sessions at our secret slabs and various other waves on the island. It’s exciting to explore the island for these waves especially considering they don’t always break in smaller conditions.

Once everyone is totally surfed out there’s daily yoga or sunset chills by the pool.
