The House
The story of Halcyon House is a tale of family, innovation and premier Australian design. When sisters Siobhan and Elisha Bickle purchased the former surfing motel (The Hideaway) in 2011, they had the intention of creating a refuge to house their families on holidays. It wasn’t long before the sisters decided to alter their holiday plans, allowing others to share the experience of their beachside treasure.

Surfing
Around Byron Bay there are a number of great beach and point breaks. The popular spots are The Pass, Tallows beach, Wategos, Broken Head and Lennox Head. Lennox Head is a popular classic right hand point break, quite a long ride. Endlessly photographed & filmed, the right hand point break at Lennox Head is one of Australia’s most famous waves, consistently ranked in the top 10 waves of Australia's 10,685 beaches. The Lennox Head point break is powerful and not for beginners.
