We’re opening this season with big smiles and fantastic conditions after a sensational 10 days on the beautiful South Pacific Ocean.

November is a great time of year in PNG- the weather is calm and consistent, and with light wind it just makes for those days you dream about.

PNG Surfaris The perfect wave

Trip 1

started out with extremely user-friendly waves in the head high range and a building swell saw everyone easing into over head waves by day 3. We were stoked to have Callum and Dale onboard, they run fishing charters in Kenya. We figured we would take them fishing at one of our hidden jewels, also home to some of the clearest waves in the country, and show them all PNG has to offer.  It was a fantastic experience for all, with waves being ridden, fish being caught (Sailfish being released) and some first class snorkeling.

After filling the freezers and getting our left hander fix, it was time to head back to the groomed seaweed bottom of Vala to enjoy the remainder of swell which was still hovering around the overhead mark.

We finished our last day how all last days should be finished, drifting through some of the nicest scenery PNG has to offer- ice cold beer in hand!

That was Trip 1 and the charts are looking even better for Trip 2. Get in quick, there’s plenty of space in marvelous March.
