The best New Year’s goals are the ones that excite you.

As we slowly work ourselves back into the post-holiday routines, now is the best time to contemplate the year ahead.
Many people set their yearly financial, career or personal life goals, but I believe all surfers (whether you shred daily or get a wave once every two weeks) should also set their yearly surfing goals.
What are your 2016 surfing goals?
I have set up the following 3 for myself:
1. Go surfing at least 4 times a week.
(Inspired by our consultant Pete Silvia that once surfed 601 days in a row)
2. Give away at least 1 wave per day
(Inspired by Brian James, TPW Maldives Managing Director.)
3. Go on at least one surf charter trip this year
The primary reason boat trips are so special is because they offer the chance to surf such a variety of quality waves within a short sail. You will have numerous quality setups to choose from. Diving off a boat and paddling into a line-up sure puts all the problems behind you.
A wind shift here, a change in tide or swell direction and you can be surfing a different world-class wave two and or even three times in one day.

The Perfect Wave’s Maldives, Mentawai, Banyaks and Telos boat charters all operate in world-class wave zones.
On a TPW boat charter you always have options: our highly-trained captains, surf guides and staff always have a suggestion as to where to surf in all conditions.
Work dramas, traffic, weekly budgets, all daily rituals fade into the distance, as nature’s best elements like tide, wind and swell direction take precedence over emails, bills and returning calls.
If you book before February 1,  you will be able to take advantage of our substantial Early Bird savings.
If you live near Gold Coast, join us at the North Burleigh Surf Club for the Maldives Night with Mark Occhilupo. TPW consultants attending to answer all your surf travel questions.
