Photo Surf Report: Maldives August 2013
Hi guys
just a few days ago we organized an exclusive charter for a group of guys led by pro surf photographer Mark Cooper from Epic Swells (www.epicswells.com).
These guys jumped on Haira surf charter (27 July – 4 August) and scored some great waves. Mark, who organized the charter, wrote about the trip:
“What an exciting adventure in the North Male Atoll aboard the Perfect Wave vessel Haira. 8 full days of surfing with a great bunch of blokes, amazing waves and crystal clear Maldivian water. We lucked into the swell of the season in the first 2 days, with Cokes and Chickens absolutely firing. Surfed most of the popular breaks and some of the South Male setups.
Crowds were there, but as always, timing was everything, with some memorable sessions with only our guys in the line up. The Haira is such a great boat, plenty of space, and the crew will have you well fed, rooms spacious, and the beers flowed all trip and were ice cold. Everyone was absolutely shattered by the final day, heading back home totally surfed out. Do yourself a favour and talk to Rhonda, Jamie and the Perfect Wave crew for your next surfing adventure.”
