Have you had enough of the cold winter outburst in recent weeks yet?

How about the sharks?

I am sure you are very happy that Mick Fanning survived that terrifying moment unscathed, and are very proud of both Mick and Julian.

After watching “that” vision live or replayed on every TV station or website the world over, you and your family will understandably prefer your next trip to be a fun, warm water holiday with waves and no sharks, please!

THE MALDIVES

Yes, it may be a bit of a cliché, but it is quite common knowledge that in the Maldives even the sharks are friendly.

It isn’t a cliché without reason. There is so much sea life (i.e. food) swimming about in Maldivian waters, that divers and surfers are never in any danger. There is no history of shark attacks in the Maldives. Yes, there are hundreds, even thousands of reef sharks in the Maldives, but none of them dangerous.

This week I have handed over the newsletter to you guys – our clients. What better information can there be than real recent emails from people just like you and me that have been aboard one of our many Maldives surf charter options?

I have decided to share 6 recent, real and honest feedback emails with a view to helping you make a decision on the Maldives charter.

Grab a coffee, tea, beer, wine or water and have a read through some of what our recent returning clients had to say about their Maldives experience, then click here and take advantage of some of our late season specials and escape the next few months of cold water in a playground where you know even the sharks are friendly.

I couldn’t be happier with the service received from Perfect Wave staff and we were extremely fortunate to have Brian as our guide. With Brian’s wealth of knowledge and willingness from the captain & crew to do early starts & move to different locations, this ensured maximum surf time.

Given our circumstances & situation, Perfect Wave delivered on getting us the best conditions for waves & minimising crowds during our entire stay. The entire experience provided was a seamless & professional operation. Thanks to Rhonda & Brian in particular. Chris Brown on The Haira

We sampled a wide selection of breaks all across the Male and Central Atolls, and our local guide Marty McFly always got us to the best waves. He was constantly pouring over charts and buoy forecasts, putting the options in front of us with local knowledge about how things might favour the intricacies of each different setup. I surfed 90% of the days I was there, ranging from waist high to overhead, and conditions were most times perfect and relatively uncrowded … a few solo sessions too!
Suffice to say, after 10 days and nights on the Hamathi, I couldn’t help but stay for another 10… and I’ll be back again ASAP. Miles Tillinger on board Hamathi

The Cobia was absolutely perfect for our intended trip. We booked it exclusively for a family/mates surfing escape and it exceeded all our expectations. The Crew Ibbe – captain (knows all the good fishing spots! but ssshhhhh!), Ashoka – chef (EXCEPTIONAL!! every meal, every day!), Jaya – barman (made sure we never went thirsty, can massage too!), Mohamed – deckhand (cool guy, who has some great fishing tips), Raju – boat boy (could never help enough, if it was dropping you in the surf, picking us up or taking us trolling…. champion lad)…. more importantly all crew members ensured that whatever was required was ready to go and they all genuinely wanted to make the trip as special as possible.
Rippe, the local surf guide has extensive knowledge of all the breaks, where to be and when and is a true legend, whether it playing tunes on his guitar, ripping up his knee board or sinking a few tigers with the boys. Surf was really fun for the entire 10 day period ranging from 2-4ft. Finally, thanks to Charlie for all your help in hooking us up with the amazing crew on the Cobia, makes organising a surf trip hassle free. Thanks to all!! Can’t wait to do it all again! Aaron – Cobia 2015 trip

Just back from a 7 night surf trip on the Haira exploring the North and South Male Atolls Maldives. Would firstly like to Charlie at The Perfect Wave who made the whole experience from first his advice as to where to go right through to the final stages where everything from flights to transfers went seamless. The boat itself was amazing plenty of room, plenty of food and a fantastic crew, they were always happy to pull anchor when we wanted to continue exploring.

Our surf guide Matty was unreal, great guy and knew his stuff when it came to the Maldives, although we had a bit of wind around we always found waves first few days were chest to shoulder high with the last few days well overhead. All of the boys had a great time, definitely will book with TPW again. Cheers Jamie Fullager.

This was my third boat charter to the Maldives, all with different companies, and I have to say that The Perfect Wave impressed me the most. Martey, the surf guide was fantastic, a genuinely friendly guy and more importantly, he found us surf to ride 11 out of 12 days, often 2 surfs a day. The staff was again caring and thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble and always looking out for us, so we had nothing to do but surf, eat, take in the amazing surroundings and rest up to do it all again.

On one day I paddled back out after an amazing ride and said to Martey, “I just rode the perfect wave”. I thought how appropriate it was, that my perfect wave, had been delivered to me by ‘The Perfect Wave’! Thanks for a great trip, hope I can do it again one day. Paul Joske – Hamathi.

The trip to the Maldives on the Cobia was amazing. all the staff on the boat were super friendly and treated us like kings. Our surf guide Rippe’ was such an awesome guy who new the waves intimately. His calls on where to go every day made sure that we had awesome waves for the entire 10 day trip.

We surfed north as far as Cokes and Chickens, as far south as Riptides and Sultans, Jails, Honkeys in between. All in all, we had a fantastic trip and will certainly be doing it again with The Perfect Wave. From day 1 when I contacted Charlie for details on the Maldives, his professional approach and organisation has been first class. Glen Mace.
