Rob, How was the surf at Kandooma in September?

I am sitting here dripping wet, beads of salt water splashing onto the keyboard. My fingers are still shaking with adrenaline as I have just come in from an epic session at Kandooma Right, an exclusive break straight out the front of the stunning Kandooma Resort. The past couple of days have been firing as a beautiful south easterly swell rumbled through the oceans. We have had 3–4 foot wave’s peeling onto the glass sheet of the turquoise lagoon with light offshore winds every day. The Perfect Wave guests arriving this week have been greeted with an empty line up, sharing the surface of the coral kingdom with no one else but the abundant marine life. Scoring barrel after barrel with only a few of us out has been epic.

With Riptides just around the corner, we have been taking advantage of The Perfect Wave surf pass and heading to the right hand break for some steep walls and glassy faces. Taking regular boat trips to explore the multiple breaks around the picturesque atolls, our surfers have aching shoulders and salt imprinted onto their skin.

I am about to dry off so it’s time to head out into the perfection for another world class session at Kandooma Right.

Hope to see you out in the line-up!

Rob
