Ever wondered what a Maldivian Surf Boat Charter would be like?

If you have ever wondered what you would see and experience on a Maldivian Surf Boat Charter, we asked our current resident photographer (Joel Coleman) on-board The Perfect Wave Carpe Diem to give us a few snap shots from last weeks charter in the Southern Atolls.

Jealous and green with envy?  “You bet ya!

Here in the Perfect Wave office we are now all busy trying to plan our next trip, well excluding those who have already got their surf trips locked down (who are now just wearing smug smiles) … Oh! And Barry who is sampling everything Aloita and the Mentawai has to offer right now. We heard from him today and he was bursting with  “the best surf of my life today”, so we are hoping to have those pictures for you soon. Thanks Baz…

In the meantime, back to the Maldives and The Perfect Wave (TPW) Carpe Diem. We are sure that you have seen the pictures but if you have not experienced the Maldives first hand even pictures struggle to reflect their beauty. When the Maldives turns on the weather it really is one of the best playgrounds in the world. The waves can be so much fun, from hollow rights to mellow lefts. You don’t have to be a pro to make the most of these waves, you’ll have as much fun in equal abandon no matter what your level of surfing is.

But it is not just the surf… there is also a fair amount of diving that can be done on this charter. When the swell backs off and you just want a mellow afternoon, or your shoulders have given in the TPW Carpe Diem crew is more than happy to take you off to experience the Indian Ocean from below.  Life on the TPW Carpe Diem is about you, if you want to do it – it can be done…

Then there is the occasional surprise and for the guests last week, the chef and his team put on a beach BBQ for dinner and it can only be described as something out of a Hollywood movie. They spent the entire afternoon setting up on the beach and when the guests were brought over for dinner, the beach was lined with candles, a bonfire was lit and a fresh fish buffet was prepared.

Poor old Joel, he still has a few weeks more to deal with paradise… how our hearts bleed for him.
